Hokkaido Japanese Language School was established in 2012 as a Japanese language school specializing in short-term study abroad. It has won numerous awards for its professional and practical lessons and curriculum as well as fulfilling activities and cultural experiences. A small group of up to 8 students per class, with generous support that can only be achieved in a cozy environment. Students learn Japanese in a fun and intensive way in Sapporo, which is full of rich nature, local food and entertainment. Students can make memorable experiences for their life in Sapporo.

The Hokkaido JaLS is located in the city center of Sapporo near the Sapporo and Odori stations. This area offers many activities such as restaurants, shops and tourist attractions.

The Standard Course is designed for students of any Japanese level.
The focus is on practical Japanese during the 15 lessons you can take each week. Activities and local events are also offered. You can take 6 additional private lessons every week. The minimum duration for this course is 1 week and the maximum duration is 12 weeks.

In the Seasonal Course, students will be able to experience cultural and seasonal activities, depending on the season they choose.
During the winter course, students can enjoy the snowy Sapporo, while they can see the beautiful cherry blossoms during the spring course. The summer course offers two different programs with different intake dates. In the first program students will visit a manga and anime festival, while students that choose the second program, will visit stunning lavender fields. Students can participate in both summer programs if they wish. During the autumn program students see the red and yellow autumn leaves.
