School Introduction

Winner of many prestigious awards for the quality of its education, GenkiJACS offers Japanese language courses to foreign students of all levels and backgrounds. With courses particularly suited to Western students whose native language is quite different from Japanese, the school has many advantages such as small class sizes, classes tailored to your current level and flexible course lengths, ranging from one week to 18 months. With their proven and award-winning educational methods, all educators are certified by the school, attend intensive courses and have regular training to be specifically teachers at GenkiJACS. Finally, because the school places great importance on its students actually having fun while they study, it offers a wide range of activities that allow them to fully immerse themselves in Japanese culture, educate their listening and communication skills in Japanese, and share ideas and experiences in the best setting possible.

Frequently cited as one of the most livable cities in the world, Fukuoka, unlike Tokyo, is rather affordable and does not have many foreigners, so students will have to practice Japanese on a daily basis. Famous for its shopping district, cuisine and nightlife, Fukuoka is the ideal place for GenkiJACS students to make the most of their stay in Japan while studying Japanese.

Long Term Course

Course Description

The long term course can be taken for 6 months, 1 year and 1 year and 6 months.

Students can take the 6 months course at GenkiJACS without going through the long process of applying for a student visa. Take advantage of the Core Course, add modules as you wish and most importantly, come whenever you want because this course starts at any time of the year.

The 1-year long course allows you to take the GenkiJACS core course with a total discount of 25%. For one year, the school will focus on communicative Japanese as well as all the subjects needed to pass the school mandatory JLPT exams (the cost of which will be covered by the school).

The 1 year and 6 months course is the longest program that GenkiJACS offers. This long-term visa course allows you to take the school’s core course for one and a half years at a 30% discount. Also, since GenkiJACS is accredited by the Japanese government, you can take this course without having to apply for a visa extension! For this and the 1-year long course the level must be below pre-intermediate. If the Japanese Language level is too high, the 6-month program should be considered instead.
