The Communica Institute does not only teach Japanese language but also cross cultural studies, because everyone’s acting and way of thinking is influenced by their culture. Therefore, students are learning and exchanging culture and values at this school besides their Japanese language studies. The Institute is located in the foreign settlement of Kobe. This area is influenced by western lifestyles through its famous port that allows international trade and exchange since its opening. This led to the unique Kobe culture we can experience today. Kobe is a great place to live for foreigners because of its interesting history and its location right next to the sea offering a natural environment.
