The Kansai College long-term courses are designed to develop your four basic Japanese skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. And when you finish your 2-year course, you will receive a diploma that will enable you to transfer to universities or professional degree programs in Japan.

Higher education and career preparation
The long-term course also prepares students for exams such as JLPT and EJU by holding mock tests and offering make-up classes, social events, career guidance, and interview guidance after classes. The course also helps students advance to higher education or find employment in Japan
Multiple electives
Students in the intermediate class and above can take six classes per week of elective courses in addition to Japanese language courses. The elective courses include business Japanese, conversation, kanji, culture, etc.
Diploma authorized by MEXT
Upon completion of the two-year course, students can obtain a professional degree in addition to a diploma that is authorized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan. This diploma satisfies the application requirements for third-year university transfer or professional degree programs.
Cultural exchange opportunities
The long-term course also offers many opportunities to learn outside the classroom, such as excursions, school festivals, speech contests, extracurricular classes, study tours, and community exchanges with Japanese students.

Intensive Japanese learning
The short-term course lasts for about three months (210 hours) and covers different levels of proficiency from complete beginner to research level above N1. The course uses original textbooks developed by the school and provides five classes a day with a focus on practical skills.
